Hello Dear Friends!
Well, here's to another semester! It looks like it's going to be an interesting one too. Most of my classes consist of reading, reading, and more reading. I don't remember having nearly this much reading last semester. But I can do it! I think... ;) It's a beautiful drizzly morning here in downtown Milledgeville, and it looks like it's going to be a good day. Last night wasn't all that great since I didn't sleep well at all, but I'm awake right now, probably due to the french vanilla coffee I had, and getting ready to go to my ten o'clock class. I had prayer with Campus Outreach this morning at 6:45 in the morning. It's early, but I think it's worth it to spend time with the Lord.
The really exciting news I have to share with you all is that I have a new baby brother!!! His name is Keegan Lee Johnson! I've already got a picture of him on Facebook if any of you would like to take a look. The only bad thing is I'm all the way over here in Milledgeville, and he's at the hospital back towards home. So I'll probably have to wait till next weekend to see him. My dad called last night to tell me the exciting news. The only problem was it was two in the morning. Our conversation went something like this, "Hello?" "Hey, Sweetie. You have a new brother!" "Awwww... really?" *yawns* "I'm so excited! Did everything go okay?" "Yes, but your mother ended up having to have a C-section, but otherwise, everything is great. Keegan is a big boy. Almost nine pounds." "Wow, he is big! But Mom knew he was probably going to be pretty big."
"Yeah, I think she did. Well, I'll let you go back to bed now." "Okay." "Good night." "Good night." And with that, I went right back to sleep. Ha ha.
So, how does it feel to be the big sister of a brother who's eighteen years younger than you? You may ask. It feels good. The only problem is that I won't be able to see him nearly as much as I want to. Oh well, I'll love him from afar. He is my brother after all. :)
This weekend is going to be crazy. A bunch of stuff to do in only a short amount of time. No rest for the weary apparently. Well, I guess I'll take a nap after my next class. Yay naps! A college student's salvation.
Peace to you all,
Keri Lynn

Miss Kaja had a sign that she put up on our door just for naps. It said "Nap Attack!" and had a picture of a sleeping tiger!
