Been Busy? Oh Yeah. Exciting News? Definitely!

Hello Everyone!

It seems like I haven't had a moment to breathe, none the less write in my blog. Now don't get me wrong, there has been a lot of fun stuff to do, but I'm starting to feel like a type of walking zombie. Ha ha. (Speaking of zombies, never watch Zoombieland, terrible movie!) I had one test and two quizzes yesterday. I think I did alright, but man I hate things being on the same day. Makes life miserable at times. Plus the weather isn't exactly appetizing. Rain, rain, rain, rain, rain, rain, rain... I mean, I don't mind rain, it's the bitterly cold, non-stop rain I'm not terribly fond of. Milledgeville seems to thrive on rain unfortunately. And the sad part is, I have no rain boots! It's terrible, truly terrible. ;) But I do have boots, and they have a thick, rubber sole, so it keeps my footsies warm.

I got to meet my little brother Keegan last weekend! He's so adorable! He's got that concerned look on his face that all we Johnson children have. It's hilarious. He is also very alert and studies you very intently. In fact, he decided to investigate my face as I was preparing to leave, almost as if he knew I'd be going away, possibly for awhile. I loved getting to hold him all weekend. He's a very precious little bundle that my family was truly blessed with. I've gotten a couple jokes and references to the Dugger family (from TLC's 19 Kids and counting) since telling people my mom had her eight child. It can be annoying, but I almost take it as a compliment at times since they have such a wonderful family. The only thing is, my family is eleven kids shorter than theirs! Ha ha. Please continue to keep my mom in your prayers since she is still having to recover and gain back her stomach muscles. She's a trooper though, and she's making a slow recovery, but it seems to be going well for the most part. It's great to see, and I can't wait till the next time I'll be able to see Keegan and the rest of my family!

I have some really exciting news to add to this! Ready for it???

I'm going back to Japan this summer!!!!

It's so exciting! You may remember the last time I was there was when I went on a choir tour with my senior high choir from church. However, this time I'm going all by myself, and I'll be helping out a lot more with the school the church we stayed at runs. The church over in Japan is steadily growing, slowly but surely, and great things are happening there! The people I know there are incredibly sweet and willing to help in any way possible. I am looking very much forward to this trip! And more than likely, I'll be getting help from family and friends (A warning ahead of time for any of you who might be receiving a letter for said help), and I'll hopefully be getting a job soon. *fingers crossed*

I just wanted to share the news with everyone and let everyone know what's going on now that I'm able to publicly tell people. Please keep me in your prayers for the preparation part of this trip, as well as the trip itself. Prayer is what I need the most.

Peace to you all,

Keri Lynn
