I Officially Hate Drama

Hey there people,

Now this is nothing new, but I have rediscovered, yet again, that I hate drama. Especially the ones that pertain to boy-girl drama. This is just one of the million reasons why I don't date at the moment. Some of the relationships I have seen remind me of soap dramas they're so bad. Either girls cling to tightly to guys, or guys don't know how to treat a girl like the true treasure she is. There's also hundreds of other ways there's trouble in the relationship, but these are the few I have just seen tonight. It was almost like it was a script from a movie. I just think the world would be so much less complicated if people waited till they were able to marry to date, and waited for God to bring the right person into their life instead of rushing blindly into a relationship. (Again, something I have seen tonight.) But sadly, too many people are worried more about their emotions than the God Who created those emotions. I am guilty of this as well. We all want to feel good, and sometimes the object of our affections seems to promise us all that we desire and more. Oh how easily we are persuaded! The Devil truly knows what he is doing, and believers are most often drawn into this trap than not.

And then you, as an innocent by-stander, are drawn into this ridiculous drama. I am a peacemaker by heart, so I will do my best to end the drama. However, this can be very hard to do, especially if you have no clue what to say. How do you end the drama when the relationship you see you knew wouldn't work out in the first place? And what do you do when the person you're trying to appease doesn't understand the first thing about relationships? Sigh........ Lord, please help me. He knows I need it.

Any advice would be most appreciated.:-)

Peace to you all!

You must first realize, above all else, that you have no power over any other person's life. The only time you'll be able to have any say over anyone will be when you are a mother! Then you will be able to guide your precious one. So, unless someone asks for advice, don't give advice. That is my advice! (Since you asked for it, and since I'm your mother!) In the meantime, 1) Be a good example of the things that you believe in and 2) pray. That's it.
