Hey Everyone!
It's break time! Yes!!!! I am so happy it's break!(Could you tell?) Today went alright. I'll start with my US history class. We mainly just sat there, ate some donuts and cookies, talked a lot, and semi-watched a documentary movie on rock'n'roll I'd already seen in my world history class. Then the announcements came on. Usually they're pretty boring, and today was no exception, except that one of the announcements was "Lockers must be cleaned out today!" Uh-oh... I had only used my locker a couple times this whole semester and I had forgotten my locker combination!!!! Hmmmmm... this was a problem. The only two numbers I remembered were the first two because my mom had said it would help to remember the 7-11 store. Could you guess which numbers were the first two?:-) Well, when the bell rang I immediately went to my locker to see if I could figure it out. Didn't work. So I hurried off to my biology class to take the final exam in that class. I think it went pretty well. When we were done my biology teacher gave us a sheet of names of Christmas carols that were named using different words. One was A Town in Judea, or something similar to it. It was obviously Oh Little Town of Bethlehem. Anyways, I went off to my world history class which was right next to my locker. I asked my world history teacher if I could try to open it. He said to wait till he was done reading a letter a girl had written after visiting a death camp in, I think, Germany. It's probably the most well known out of all the death camps during the Holocaust. He then started a movie called The Devil's Arithmetic. It's based on the same death camp that the girl who had written the letter had been to. I wanted to see it because of my friend and I's story we're writing on the Holocaust. But alas, I had to figure out my locker combination. I go out into the hallway and start what I think will take a very long time trying to figure out my locker combination. First try, no luck. Second time, I think it was, I tried it, and it opened!!!! What luck! I was able to at least remember how close the second pair of numbers had been. I think God was helping me out because I think I had prayed somewhat earlier. I triumphantly return to class and sit down to watch the movie. It was fairly good, even though we didn't get to see it all the way through. Next was my algebra 2 exam. That didn't go so well. I was not happy with the fact that some of the things on the exam we did not review. Ah well. I should still have an A in that class. I hope....
Well, that was my day. My little brother Kade is going to be in a play tonight and my family and I are going to go see it. I remember when I was a little kid in a play. I was sooooooooo nervous!
Have a great break everyone!
Keri Lynn
P.S. Seven more days until Christmas!!!
