Hey All!
It's Thanksgiving Break! Yes! A whole WEEK off! I know that's a bit unusual, but that's how our school system works here. A lot of breaks during school, but a very short summer. Now I know why kids make such a big deal out of having a whole week off! I can now fully appreciate this Thanksgiving break.
I think I'll make a list of what I'm thankful for. But I'll post that closer to Thanksgiving....
I was looking at how many post I had actually published. Only sixteen! Yikes! I've got to write more don't you think? I suppose I like to write in my books more then my blog. I love to write different stories. The big question though, is if I'll ever finish any of them!:-) I've finished some short stories, but not any of my big books! Either I come up with a better story line for that particular story, or I just get plain bored with it! I bet though, if some people encourage me, I might actually finish a story. Whether or not I'll let you read it is another matter!:-) I guess we'll just have to see won't we?
One of my stories is a twist on Rapunzel. I love all those books that put a twist on old fairy tails. Like Ella Enchanted by Gail Carson Levine. I love that book! I'm a strange person. On one hand I love good fiction Christian novels, while on the other hand I love those books with princesses, fairies, and unicorns! And that's what I tend to write on. They do not have all that junk stuff though that you tend to find in a lot of those teeny bopper books that are just awful!
I want to be a writer like C. S. Lewis, who wrote fantasy, but with a Christian twist. I love that! And I love his books! Who knows, perhaps some day I'll write a book half as good as his.
Well, have a good weekend everyone! I hope to write soon about what I am most thankful for!

Go Keri Lynn! Go, go, go! Write away! (See Mom jumping with pom-poms!) Embarrassing, isn't it! But if you go write, I'll stop!
