Bonjour!
Ah, pep rallies. The bane of a teenager's existence.:-) They can either be really fun or really, really boring. Or it can be right in between. Today was one of those in between pep rallies. It was my first pep rally as a senior. Yay for seniors! It was a little fun, but for the most part pretty boring. That and it was very HOT! Not a whole lot fun. And a bunch of girls around me were those screaming, inconsiderate types. Sigh.
I'm glad it's the weekend. Saturdays and Sundays are my favorite part of the week, except for weed picking.:-( I also like Wednesday night church activities. And then I have those random really good days during the week. I especially like Fridays. Except for the fact that teachers love to give you tests on Friday. Why is that? Why not Thursday? I mean, Fridays aren't the only days I get tests, but I do seem to get most of them on that day.
We've decided to start calling our FCA club FCS (Fellowship of Christian Students.) Why? Because we didn't want to limit the club to just athletes. Actually, most of the students in the club are NOT athletes. We've got band people, academic people, art people, even a couple of cheerleaders. We've got your athletes too, but for the most part we are a mix. It's good to see it going that way too, and I hope that we'll get even more people to join now that we've opened it up more. I started coming because my friend, Travis, invited me. And I invited Briana and my brother. It is growing, slowly but surely.
Well, I suppose I don't have a whole lot to write about right now. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
Peace to you all,
Keri Lynn
