Hey Everyone!
Sooooo.... Today I woke up especially early for a Bible study some of the youth are doing called Wake Up. Perfect name I think. I had to wake up about fifty minutes earlier than I usually do, but that's okay. It's worth it to fellowship and study God's word. I'm also in a Bible study called Leadership U(university), but I'll have to talk more about that later. Wake went pretty well today. Every Monday the group that leads goes to somebody's home and wakes them up extra early, videotaping them in the process, and then show everybody at the Bible study! It's pretty hilarious, as long as you're not the one to be woken up.:-)
After that a friend took Kristofer and I to the high school and I went to study for a quiz in geometry. Fun. I started writing a really short prayer in it just to ask God to help me through the day and learn more about Him. Then I did it in second block. I think I've started a new thing. I'm going to take my prayer journal to school everyday and write short prayers in it throughout the day. Usually I remember them better when I write them down.
In British Lit. today I gave a boast. A boast is what people did in the older days to introduce themselves and qualify themselves if the need presented itself. We've been reading Beowulf lately, and that's where our writing assignment comes from. My boast was somewhat different than the others. Others boasted about themselves, in a comical way, a lot more than I did. I started off my boast by saying it was God who gave me my gifts and that I was the daughter of the King. I also went on to say some other stuff about me, usually referring God, and my plans for the future. The room was pretty silent when I was through, so I don't know what most people thought of it. All I know is that when I boast, I will boast in God! One girl I sit with at lunch told me she liked it, so that was one person. I don't know if I offended anybody when I mentioned being friends with people who were not popularity's crowd(Kenning!:)(Literary device in case any of you were wondering.) I suppose we'll see won't we?
Fourth block I have economics, and the teacher came up to me and asked me, "You have a lot of siblings don't you?" I said, "Um, yes... How did you know?" "I was just looking at another students profile when I scrolled past yours." We talked for a moment about my family and that I was a Christian Baptist. Later he said he had wanted to know that because he was wondering if I was Catholic. Nope. Definitely not. So that was kind of funny. And then he started speaking about the economic look on abortion. He said that 1.5 million babies are aborted per year!! And that somewhere between 1993(I think) ad 1995 violent crime deaths dropped 30 percent by the time those babies would have grown up to do those things. But here's the catch. The numbers only went down by 5000. Now was the price we payed worth only 5ooo deaths? There would still be 1,495,000 humans still alive!!!!! The rate may have gone up, but I doubt enough to ever match the amount of humans still alive. Perhaps the violent crime deaths would have gone down because we would have had better morals! I mean, wake up America! I want to cry when I think of how many precious souls did not even have a chance to live! Even economically abortion IS NOT WORTH THE PRICE!!!
After school I was standing in my usual spot waiting for two of the girls I ride with, to and from school. My friend I hung out with a lot last year always comes by after the bell releasing all the underclassman is rung. He's a junior. We always say hello and have a very brief conversation. Today he said, "My senior year is going to be very depressing." I asked, "Why?" "Because," he said, "You're not going to be here." I was like "Ohhh, that's so sweet! Cry." I said showing a little tear drop come from my eye with my finger. Yah, he's a sweet guy. But he is most certainly a lady's man as well. I think he'd rather hang out with a girl than a boy any day, at least for the most part. Don't get me wrong. He's not one of those real flirty boys who are only interested in the girl. He just likes to be friends with girls. He was my first real "guyfriend", not boyfriend. Just a nice boy who's a good friend, even when I give him a really hard time.:-)
Well, that was my day. Now on to a walk and homework.
Peace to you all,
Keri Lynn

I'm so proud of you, baby, and how you shine for Jesus wherever you go. I love you!
Hello Keri Lynn~
Vous étiez writtihg occupé aujourd'hui.
The wake up call sounds like fun to do it to other people and when it is your turn, well hopefully your room is semi pick-up. Keeping a record of God's Prayers, why did I not think of that when I was your age, what a great commitment.
During your boast time I can almost guarantee that people were amazed by your personal relationship with God, not everybody can do that in confidence. When you graduate and leave that school people is going to miss you and remember how you were not afraid to make known your love for The Lord. Second block do you mean second period? For a joung lady your age you do sound pasionate about abortion, I respect that.

Hello Mrs. Wright!
To answer your question, we have a block system at my school. We have four blocks each day, one and a half hours long each. We have two semesters, in which you change to four different classes, for a totall of eight classes each year. It's kind of confusing at first, but I'm used to it now. What exactly does your French phrase mean? I see the words you, or you as a group as I should say, and today, aujourd'hui. What are the verbs in there? I've only taken French 1, so I'm not totally proficient at it as of yet. Thanks for the French though! It reminds me of stuff I need to remember.;-)
Love,
Keri Lynn
Dearest~
Means "You were busy writing today"
