July 4th is almost here!

Hey all!

It's only a few more days till July 4th! Wow time flies! It was about this time last year that I found out I was going to public school. I remember last years fireworks show. We went to see it at the school I'm going to now. It was strange seeing the school I would soon attend in only a few short weeks. This year will probably be stranger. I'm going to be a senior this year, and it will be an interesting experience. I'm trusting God that He'll help me through it, cause I'm going to need it! He's brought a friend into my life that shares my same belief system and is growing and struggling just like I am! Thank God for Briana!

My Grandma Alice is here. Thank goodness she is willing to share my bed with me! I love my bed, and after that trip to California I'm exhausted! It was a good trip though. I probably gained five pounds because of eating out, but that's okay. It will be fun having our grandma-on my dad's side-with us for July 4th. She's a character let me tell you! Up until recently she had a cat in her apartment named Mr. Whiskers. I love that name! She works in a bead store and absolutely loves to shop! My dad definitely got his love of going to Big Lots from her! I remember she always took me to Big Lots whenever we went shopping! It was a lot of fun!

I reconnected with several people in Cali this last week. It was fun seeing everyone again! We stayed at our Grandma and Grandpa's house in Palos Verdes, California and went several places. We went to the beach twice, ate at Bob's Big Boy, El Polio Inka, In-n-Out(Love this place!), a pancake restraunt, El Burrito Jr., went to two parks, and fell into bed exhausted every night! We went to our old church on Sunday and that was fun! I saw A LOT of people, some I recognized but couldn't remember the name. We ate at some peoples houses as well. We were VERY busy! Sarah, one of my old friends from Cali, cracked me up! As soon as she saw me she repeatedly said "Oh my gosh!" and hugged me for perhaps a full minute! I love her!:-) I also got to spend a few hours with my best friend from Cali, Missy. She'll be getting internet soon so I'll be able to email her! Yay!

Well, other stuff to do! Oh and Briana's got a blog! I'll be putting it in one of my posts soon.

I really needed a friend like you, too, and I really wasn't sure why God blessed me with you until last week at camp. Everyone was giving me the cold shoulder, and I said, "Well, at least I know Keri Lynn will be there for me at home." I'm praying for you and want you to know that I think God made us friends because our parents couldn't handle us as sisters :D

May God Bless You Beyond Belief,
Briana

P.S.: LOVE the picture! Is that the dress you wore at your Sweet Sixteen?
